Biography of Maná.
This band started in 1978 in the Mexican city of Guadalajara like all band starts, playing in the garages of their houses.
At the beginning this band called "Sombrero Verde" playing cover of famous bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelling and others, only with two guitars and a bongo. In 1985 both the drummer and the second guitar left the group, after this Juan, Sergio and Fher decided to find a new drummer by making a casting.
In 1986 Alex Gonzalez joined the band after the casting. Before this event Alex talked to Fher (the band's leader), and said "I wanna be the last guy in giving the audition" being Alex the best drummer in the casting, with this, they decided to change the band's name, from that moment on the band was called Maná. The members of the band are: On the guitar is Sergio Vallin; On the bass is Juan Calleros; On the vocals is Fher Olivera and On the drum is Alex Gonzalez.
The style of this band has a little of everything, it's a mix of pop-rock with reggae. And the lyrics talk about love, environmental nature problems, and they tell tales about love's storys.
Their Discography starts with the album was called "Maná" in 1986 like the band's name," Falta amor" in 1989,"¿Dónde jugaran los niños?" in 1992, "Maná en vivo" in 1994, Cuando los ángeles llorar" in 1995, "Sueños líquidos" in 1997, "MTV Unplugged" in 1999, "Revolución de amor" in 2002, And the new one "Amar es combatir" in 2006.
